Universal package tracking that ends the hounding — paste a tracking number and Turtini watches the carrier and tells the right person on every update.
Universal package tracking for everything your org sends or expects — one shared, self-watching record that replaces the "did it ship?" and "did it arrive?" email chains. Add a USPS, FedEx, UPS, or DHL tracking number and Turtini watches the carrier for you, notifying the right party on movement, delivery, exceptions, and slipping ship-by deadlines — without hounding anyone.
What's included
Outbound + inbound tracking across USPS / FedEx / UPS / DHL
Self-watching: recipient told when it ships, both told when it arrives
Ship-by deadline reminders sent to the responsible party — and they stop the moment it moves
Late-fee countdown (e.g. equipment returns) surfaced before it costs you
Shared record between both parties — no one has to email "did it ship / arrive?"
Any module that ships a good registers a shipment and inherits tracking for free
About this module
Shipments lives at /shipments and tracks packages in both directions: outbound (a store order, an equipment-loan return, an RMA you are shipping back) and inbound (a vendor return, a customer sending something back). You paste a tracking number, Turtini guesses the carrier, and the shipment starts watching itself. A scheduled poller checks carriers for you, so you never refresh a carrier website again — Active, Delivered, and All tabs give you the whole picture at a glance.
The point of difference is the anti-hounding design. When you set a ship-by deadline, Turtini chases it — but it starts only 48 hours out, sends at most one reminder a day, caps at a handful of nudges, and goes completely silent the instant the carrier scans the package. Notifications are targeted and idempotent: the waiting recipient hears when it is moving, both parties hear on delivery, and the shipper hears about an exception or a truly stuck package — each event sent exactly once, over in-app, SMS, and email. Enough to get a stuck return out the door, and never one message more.
Shipments works standalone or as connective tissue. Retail, Field Service, and Lending can hand a tracking number to Shipments so a store fulfillment or an equipment return is watched with no extra steps, and Wally can start tracking a package or send an update to the other party by voice. It is the small, universal primitive that makes every shipping-shaped workflow on the platform close its own loop.
What you can do with it
Track a loaned-equipment return with a ship-by deadline and automatic reminders that stop the moment it moves
Watch inbound customer RMAs and get told the instant one is on its way or delivered
Notify a recipient automatically on movement and delivery, over in-app, SMS, and email
Let Retail or Field Service auto-create a tracked shipment from an order or job
Ask Wally to "track this return, must ship by Friday" and have it fill in the details
