About this module
Roam lives at /me/roam and is Beacon pointed at the ground instead of the sky. Open it, raise your camera, and pan around: the restaurants, cafés, bars, shops, and sights near you appear floating in augmented reality exactly where they really are, each labelled with how far away it is and whether it is open right now. Switch to the live map for the same places from above, or the nearest list to scan them by distance. Filter by what you are after — somewhere to eat, a coffee, a drink, shopping, things to do — and toggle "open now" to hide everything that is closed. It works anywhere on Earth, because it reads the same global places graph your maps app does.
Tap any place and its full card opens inside Roam — photos, rating, price, today's hours, phone, and a one-tap button that hands you straight to walking directions. Nothing is a dead-end link-out when Turtini can show it to you itself. And because this is Turtini, a place is not just something you look at and forget: save it as a favourite, give it your own private rating and notes the way you log a bottle in Cellar, and if you have a trip coming up, drop it onto that trip's itinerary in one tap. Your saved places travel with you across every context, forever.
Here is the part only Turtini can do. A place that is not on Turtini yet still saves — Roam keeps a lightweight record of it so your favourite, your notes, and your trip stop all persist. The moment that restaurant's owner claims their listing and turns on Turtini's Food & Beverage tools, its real menu and live reservations light up right inside Roam, with no re-saving on your end. Pointing your phone at a restaurant that has not joined yet is the most qualified introduction that restaurant will ever get.
