The cruise / theme-park "Memory Maker" for any property — photographers capture photos tagged to each guest, the photos land in that guest's own gallery, and they buy a single photo or the all-photos pass, charged to their account.

The cruise / theme-park "PhotoPass" and "Memory Maker" for any property. Photographers capture photos of your guests, each photo is tagged to the guest it belongs to and lands in their own gallery, and the guest buys a single photo or the all-photos pass — charged to their account, downloaded in full resolution, theirs to keep for life.

What's included

Photographers upload from the floor; every photo runs the platform content-moderation pipeline before a guest ever sees it

A photo is tagged to the PERSON — resolved by their cabin card, wristband, or QR (a key, never a bearer claim) — and fans out to that guest's own gallery

A family photo tags every person in it, so it appears in each of their galleries; background guests are never tagged

Guests see a watermarked preview until they buy; the hi-res original is delivered only after purchase and is theirs to download for life

Buy one photo (charged to the on-property account, or by card for a day guest) or the all-photos Photo Pass that unlocks every tagged photo

The all-photos pass reuses the prepaid-package primitive — no separate ledger; an individual photo is a single folio charge that settles at debark

One primitive across cruise, theme park, resort, event, wedding, school, and sports photography

About this module

Photo Pass lives at /photos and is the captured-media primitive: one system for cruise, theme park, resort, event, wedding, school, and sports photography. A photographer working the floor uploads their shots, and every photo runs through the platform image-moderation pipeline before a guest can ever see it. The photo is then attributed to the person it is of — resolved by their cabin card, wristband, or a QR scan. That token is only a key that looks up the canonical guest; the photo belongs to the person, not to whoever is holding a ticket. A family photo tags every person in it, so it appears in each family member's gallery, while a stranger caught in the background is never tagged.

The moment a photo is approved and tagged, it fans out into that guest's own gallery in their Personal context — no "claim your photos" step, because membership is the subscription. The guest browses their photos as watermarked previews and buys the way they buy everything else on property: an individual photo posts as a single charge to their one closed-loop on-property account and settles at the end of the trip, or a day guest with no account pays by card on a branded checkout. The all-photos Photo Pass is the Memory Maker: one price that unlocks every photo they are tagged in. It is not a new billing system — it is the same prepaid-package primitive the spa uses for thermal passes, carrying a photo.all entitlement, so buying it unlocks all their photos with no separate ledger to reconcile.

The watermark-free original is delivered only after purchase, through a short-lived signed link, and once bought it is the guest's forever — account-for-life means their vacation photos never expire behind a paywall they already paid. Face-match auto-tagging is powerful but biometric-privacy sensitive, so it is deliberately deferred to a later, explicitly consent-gated phase; today photos are attributed by scan and by staff tagging. Photo Pass reuses the guest account, the prepaid-package primitive, the moderation pipeline, and the identity graph — so it is mostly the same rails the rest of the property already runs on, pointed at memories.

What you can do with it

  • Run a cruise ship's photo program — formal night, ports, and character meets tagged to each guest and charged to their folio

  • Sell a theme-park all-day Memory Maker pass that unlocks every ride and character photo a family is in

  • Let a wedding photographer drop each guest's photos straight into their gallery to buy prints and downloads

  • Give a resort a single desk where a guest buys one sunset photo or the whole gallery, settled at checkout

  • Tag a school or sports photo day by roster so every athlete owns their own photos across every season
