About this module
Motor Pool lives at /motorpool and manages the cars, vans, and trucks a business puts on the road. A vehicle registry tracks status, odometer, and the assigned driver for every unit, so you always know what is out, who has it, and how many miles it has covered.
Safety runs from the driver's phone. Drivers complete pre- and post-trip DVIR inspections on their phones to the federal standard, and defect flagging does the responsible thing automatically: an unsafe vehicle is auto-parked and stays out of service until a mechanic certifies the repair. It is distinct from the marine Fleet module — this one is for road vehicles and drivers.
