Space mission coordination OS — missions, vehicles, crew, part genealogy, timeline, anomalies, ground passes, and cross-org participant grants.

Space mission coordination OS — missions, vehicles, crew, part genealogy, timeline, anomalies, ground passes, and cross-org participant grants.

What's included

Mission registry with tiers (orbital, cislunar, deep-space, suborbital, ground-test, research)

Vehicles — capsules, launch vehicles, landers, rovers, probes, station modules — with propellant, thermal, and power state

Crew slots that link to canonical users (athlete-of-space pattern) — flight history follows the human, not the org

Part genealogy by serial + lot — "where else is this lot installed?" before a recall

Timeline events (launch, burn, EVA, docking, milestone, …) with Mission Elapsed Time (MET) formatting

Anomalies with cross-org visibility — primes, subs, agencies, and ground partners see the same flight issue

Ground-station comms windows — DSN, TDRSS, LunaNet, private — with round-trip light-time

Participant grants — permissions-not-copies cross-org collaboration with per-scope revoke

Wally tools: readiness score, open-anomaly digest, upcoming passes, part genealogy lookup, report-anomaly, log-event

About this module

Mission is the top-level coordination layer for spaceflight operations. Mission registry with tiers (orbital, cislunar, deep-space, suborbital, ground-test, research). Vehicles (capsules, launch vehicles, landers, rovers, probes, station modules) with propellant + thermal + power state.

Crew slots link to canonical users via the athlete-of-space pattern — flight history follows the human, not the org. Part genealogy traces every component back to manufacturing lot + qualification testing. Anomalies + ground passes + cross-org participant grants tie everything together.

What you can do with it

  • Coordinate a 12-day crewed lunar mission across mission ops + ground stations

  • Track every component on a smallsat back to qualification testing

  • Grant a partner org read-access to specific mission telemetry

  • Build a cross-org mission with NASA + Northrop + crew from three different agencies
