About this module

Insurance lives at /me/insurance and flips the usual relationship. Instead of a carrier pulling a file and handing you a take-it-or-leave-it rate, you browse a marketplace of real offers, each showing its baseline rate up front — the most you will ever pay. The Shop tab is where you compare; My policies is where you manage what you have bound; and Carrier reads is your audit trail of every time a carrier looked at your policy.

The mechanic underneath is a one-way ratchet. When you bind a policy it locks in an immutable baseline, and every signal you choose to share — resting heart-rate variability, sleep, safe-driving telematics, whatever the offer values — moves your premium down toward the floor by a stated amount you see before you agree. That is the only direction it moves. Revoke a signal later and you simply return toward baseline: no surcharge, no re-underwriting, no penalty for having shared. The ratchet is not a promise on paper; it is enforced in code by the platform.

Your raw data never leaves your side. Carriers read only an aggregated qualification view — whether you clear a tier, never the numbers behind it — and every read is logged for you under Carrier reads, with a timestamp. You can underwrite your own privacy: share more to pay less, share less to pay baseline, and watch exactly who looked and when. Carriers run the matching workflow from the Underwriting module.
