Technology and Oceans are better together 

Imagine a world where technology empowers, and the oceans flourish. At Turtini, we believe in both. We provide the federal government with built-in AI from Red Hat, and we're committed to protecting our underwater world. To help fund this initiative, employees use Qarrot, a peer-to-peer recognition tool; when an employee is recognized, they can also choose to recognize Wally, our mascot. When Wally is recognized, those funds are used to support non-profits that are making a real difference for our marine friends. 

Inspired by Red Hat's commitment to Open Source technology, we built an open source project to help track sea life and artificial reefs, called Echo Reef. This project uses open source data to track marine life and artificial reefs created by sinking historic ships. These reefing projects breathe new life into historic vessels as a habitat for fish, corals, invertebrates, and sea turtles.
