Run a compensation cycle
The **Compensation** tab on /workforce runs structured comp cycles — merit, bonus, and equity adjustments proposed by managers and routed through a multi-level approval chain.
Open a cycle, and managers propose changes for their reports (new base, bonus, equity grant). Each proposal climbs an approval chain; approvers act on their step at /me/approvals, and you can see exactly where any proposal sits. When a proposal is fully approved and implemented, the change applies through to payroll automatically (dedupe-guarded so it can never apply twice).
Employees see their side at /me/total-rewards — a live statement aggregating base, variable pay, benefits, and vested equity across every org they work for. It's the cross-org "what am I actually worth here" picture.
Ask Wally for a **compensation cycle summary** to get spend, participation, and approval status for the active cycle at a glance.
