Volunteer recruitment via your website
The Volunteer Sign-Up block lets you collect volunteer registrations directly from your public website — no manual enrollment needed.
What happens when someone submits the form:
1. A Turtini account is created for them (or their existing account is found)
2. They are enrolled as a Volunteer worker in your org automatically
3. Workforce Assignments are created for any events they selected
4. A welcome email is sent with a link to set their password and access their account
Adding the block to your site:
1. Open the Website Builder → edit a page
2. Click + Add Block → select "Volunteer Sign-Up"
3. Configure the heading, description, submit label, and success message
4. Choose whether to show the phone number field
5. Pick a background style: White, Light gray, or Brand color
6. Save and publish
Events shown on the block:
• Only upcoming events with "Enable volunteer assignments" turned on appear as checkboxes
• Events are pulled live from your org — no manual curation needed
• Visitors can select one or more events they want to volunteer for, or submit without selecting any
Managing recruits:
• New volunteers appear immediately in Workforce → People
• Their event sign-ups appear in Workforce → Assignments with a purple Event badge
• You can manage, reassign, or remove them from either the Workforce module or the event detail view
