Pay stubs — viewing and downloading your pay
Pay stubs show what you earned for a given pay period — gross wages, deductions, taxes withheld, and net pay. Every worker has access to their own stubs from Workforce → My Pay (or Profile → Pay).
Where stubs come from:
• Hourly workers — wages roll up automatically from your closed time entries in the period
• Salaried workers — wages are computed from your salary divided across the period
• Manual entries (PTO, bonuses, adjustments) are added by your admin in Workforce → Time
• Once a pay period closes, the daily payrollAuto cron generates a stub for each worker
What's on a stub:
• Pay period start and end dates
• Earnings — regular hours, overtime, PTO, bonuses, with rate and amount per line
• Pre-tax deductions — health, retirement, etc. (admin-configured)
• Taxes — federal income tax, state income tax, FICA (Social Security + Medicare)
• Post-tax deductions
• Gross pay → net pay reconciliation
• Year-to-date totals for each line
To view and download:
1. Workforce → My Pay (or click "Pay stubs" on your Profile)
2. Click any pay period to expand the stub inline
3. Click "Download PDF" for an offline copy — branded with your org's logo
Auto-paystubs:
A daily cron (runs 03:00 UTC) detects pay periods that closed in the last 24 hours and generates stubs for every active worker without manual intervention. Admins can also click "Run paystubs now" in Workforce settings to force a regeneration after corrections.
Data portability:
Your pay stubs and tax docs follow YOU, not the org you currently work for. If you leave the org, your historical stubs remain accessible from your personal profile — see "Personal email — keeping your tax docs after leaving an org".
