Shift scheduling

The Schedule tab provides a weekly view for planning worker shifts. Scheduling must be enabled in Workforce Settings.

Enabling scheduling:
1. Workforce → Settings → toggle on "Enable Scheduling"
2. Optionally add default roles (e.g. "Server", "Host", "Bartender") under Default Roles
3. Save

Creating a shift:
1. Workforce → Schedule → navigate to the week you want
2. Click + Add Shift
3. Select the worker — or leave blank to create an open shift (no one assigned yet)
4. Set the date, start time, and end time
5. Optionally set a role and notes
6. Save

Shift statuses:
• Scheduled — planned but not yet confirmed
• Confirmed — worker has acknowledged the shift
• Open — no worker assigned; available for anyone to claim
• Cancelled — shift no longer needed

Editing and deleting shifts:
• Click any shift to edit its details, change the assigned worker, or update the status
• Deleting a shift is permanent
