Wally on the home screen — voice + chat in one place
Wally is reachable from anywhere in the app — a press of the floating "Hey Wally" pill in the top-right corner opens the Wally modal over whatever you're doing.
Inside the modal you can:
• Type a question or instruction at the input bar
• Press the mic icon and speak — Wally transcribes locally first (free, no chargeback) and only sends the audio to our speech-to-text service if it can't make sense locally
• Drag and drop a file (PDF, image, CSV) into the modal to ground a question in that file
• Scroll back through prior turns of the same conversation
What Wally can see:
• Your current org, the modules you have enabled, and your role in the org
• The page you were looking at when you opened the modal
• Any conversation context within the same session
What Wally cannot see:
• Other orgs you belong to
• Other users' conversations
• Anything outside the session you're in (Wally does not retain memory across sessions by default)
Stopping mid-stream: click the stop icon if Wally is generating something you no longer want.
Approving actions: when Wally proposes to do something (post a charge, send an email, create a deck), the proposal appears as a card with "Do it" and "Cancel" buttons. Wally never executes destructive or external-facing actions without your explicit approval — see "Wally action cards" for the safety model.
