Attaching images to Wally messages

You can attach up to 20 images per message — Wally sees them via Claude's vision capability and can describe, summarize, or work from them in its reply.

Three ways to attach:
1. Click the paperclip icon to the left of the message box and pick image files
2. Drag image files anywhere onto the message box — a highlight ring appears while you're hovering
3. Paste an image straight from the clipboard into the message box (e.g. paste a screenshot)

Limits and constraints:
• Up to 20 images per message (Anthropic's per-call cap)
• Each image must be under 20 MB
• Image-only messages (no text) are allowed — useful for "what is this?" workflows
• Guests can't attach images — this feature is signed-in only

Safety review:
Every image goes through Google Vision SafeSearch before it's sent to Claude. If anything is flagged as adult, violent, or racy, the message is rejected with an inline error and Wally never sees it. The flagged file stays in your private storage but is not surfaced to admins (this is per-message gating, separate from the platform-wide image moderation queue).

Where attachments live:
Each upload is stored under wallyChat/{your-user-id}/{message-id}/ in your private namespace. Storage rules restrict read/write to you only. The conversation thumbnail and history view will show the attached images alongside the message you sent.

Removing an attachment before sending:
After picking files, the previews appear above the message box. Click the small × on any preview to remove that file before sending.
