Selling voyages and passes online
Your site can take payment for a day cruise and sell a ship pass, through the Builder blocks "Voyages — Book Now" and "Voyages — Passes".
What you need first:
• A connected payment account with payouts enabled. Money settles to YOUR account, not to Turtini. Until it is connected the booking block falls back to taking a reservation REQUEST and says so to the buyer.
• Ticket types with prices on the voyage (Schedule → open a departure → pricing tiers). The block sells every tier you priced.
• A price on the pass template, and Active ticked (Passes → templates).
How a paid booking works:
1. The buyer picks their tickets and enters their details. The price is calculated on our server from your own pricing — never sent up from the browser.
2. Seats are HELD for 20 minutes while they pay, so two buyers cannot take the same last seat.
3. They pay on your card form, on your site.
4. We re-read the payment from your processor and confirm only if it says paid. A booking is never confirmed on the browser's word.
5. The confirmation email goes out with the terms and a cancellation link.
Capacity:
Availability is capacity minus booked minus held. Capacity comes from the departure's own override if you set one, otherwise from the vessel. A held seat that is never paid for is released automatically the next time someone starts a checkout on that voyage, so an abandoned cart does not quietly take a seat off sale.
Passes:
A pass is created the moment checkout starts, but it is NOT usable until the payment is verified — it sits in pending-payment until then, so an unpaid pass can never scan at a gangway. Once issued it gets its rides, its validity dates, and an email with its terms.
Turning purchase off:
The Passes block has an "enablePurchase" setting. Set it to "no" to keep the block as a catalog and sell at the counter only.
