Claiming your venue listing

If your org operates a venue that already appears in Turtini's public catalog (seeded by Turtini), you can claim the listing to gain edit control + receive inquiries directly.

To claim your venue:
1. Open /venue (the operator module)
2. Click the Catalog Profile tab → "Claim this listing"
3. Search for your venue and click it
4. The flow asks you to prove ownership via a DNS TXT record on your website — you add the record at _turtini-venue.{your-domain}, then click Verify
5. On verification:
• The listing flips to "Verified by venue" with a green badge
• You can edit photos, amenities, capacity, description, and add/update floor plans
• A Verified-by-Turtini credential is issued for your venue profile
• Inquiries from event organizers route to your org's Inquiries tab

After claiming:
• You manage your own floor plans (Catalog Profile → Floor Plans tab) — every update fans out to events that have your venue attached with live-update enabled
• You set availability via the Bookings tab — confirmed inquiries become bookings that block off dates on the public calendar
• You can issue counter-proposals on inquiries (different date, different room) — back-and-forth happens in the inquiry thread

Don't see your venue?
Open /venue → Catalog Profile → "List a new venue" and submit it for review. Turtini's catalog team adds qualifying venues within a few days.
