Become an insurance carrier and publish offers
Underwriting at /insurance/carrier is the carrier side of Turtini insurance — where an org authors offers and runs its book of business. It's the counterpart to the consumer marketplace at /me/insurance.
Become a carrier:
• Underwriting requires your org to be an insurance carrier. Apply from /insurance/carrier — the Enroll step routes your org through becoming a carrier. Once approved, the Offers and Book of business tabs unlock.
Publish an offer:
• On the Offers tab, author an offer and declare its signal-discount tiers — which shared signals earn how much off. For example, "share HRV + sleep for 15% off auto." You map signal kinds to discount percentages; consumers see exactly those numbers in the marketplace.
• Publish, and your offer appears on the public Shop tab at /me/insurance for consumers to bind.
The ratchet you're agreeing to:
• Offers honor the platform's one-way ratchet: each policy's baseline is immutable, sharing only lowers the holder's premium, and revocation never triggers a surcharge. The rule is enforced by the platform, not left to good faith — see "Read your book without seeing raw data".
Authoring offers and reading policy views are separate permissions, so you can let an analyst design offers without granting access to policyholder views.
