Turn protection off for one site, or fix a stuck page

The shield button at the left of the address bar opens Site Info — a small panel for the site you're on. It does two things.

Support a single site:
Tracker and ad blocking is on everywhere by default. If you want to support a specific site by letting its ads load, open Site Info and press Turn off for this site. The page reloads with protection off just for that site; every other site stays protected. Press Turn on for this site any time to switch it back.

Fix a page that's stuck:
Some sites — Google Docs and Sheets are the classic case — can get wedged on a loading error or a "clear application resources" message. In Site Info, press Clear & reload under Fix loading issues. This wipes just this site's stored data and reloads it, which usually gets it moving again. It's a full reset for that one site, so it can sign you out of it — you'll simply sign back in.

Neither action touches any other site or your account.
