Accepting Turtini Points at your business
When you turn on "Accepts Turtini Points" for a restaurant, retail store, lodging property, or property-management community, you join the cross-merchant loyalty network — and Turtini auto-funds most of every redemption out of the platform fee on your sales.
How to opt in:
1. Open the merchant's settings (Restaurant settings, Store settings, Property settings, or Property profile)
2. Find the "Turtini Loyalty Network" panel
3. Flip the toggle "This {restaurant/store/property/community} accepts Turtini Points"
4. Save
The redemption pool:
• Each participating sale routes 15% of Turtini's transaction platform fee on that sale into your redemption pool (orgs/{orgId}/loyaltyRedemptionPools/{merchantId}).
• When a patron redeems Turtini Points at your location, redemption value is drawn from the pool first.
• If a patron redeems more than the pool currently holds, your business funds the overflow out of pocket — same as honoring a coupon.
• Lifetime contributions and lifetime redemptions are shown on the panel for transparency.
Why participate:
• You attract patrons from every other Turtini-powered business — they earned points eating elsewhere; they spend them with you.
• The pool grows as your sales grow, so steady-state most redemptions are subsidized.
• Your own loyalty program runs in parallel — patrons can stack their merchant-points discount with their Turtini-points discount on the same order.
Pausing:
Flip the toggle off and new sales stop contributing to the pool, and patrons can no longer redeem here. The existing pool balance stays put — turn the toggle back on later and that balance is still available.
