Requiring an application form before someone can join

Some memberships need more than a card — a corporate sponsorship wants the company name and logo, a club wants a short application, a program wants a waiver signed. Turtini lets you attach an Intake form to any membership plan so the applicant fills it out FIRST and pays at the bottom of the same screen — one flow, never leaving the page.

How the joined flow looks to the applicant:
1. They click "Join" on your site (Membership Tiers block, an Accordion section, or the plan's buy page).
2. Your application form renders inline — the questions you built, in your org's brand.
3. They fill it out and the answers save.
4. The recurring payment step appears directly beneath, pre-set to the plan's price and interval.
5. They pay. The application and the new subscription are linked to the same contact automatically — no re-keying, no matching by hand later.

Step-by-step to set it up:
1. First build the form. Forms → "+ New form", add your fields, and Publish it. Only published forms can be attached. (If the form has its own payment field, you can leave it — the membership's recurring price takes over as the charge, so you won't double-charge.)
2. Subscriptions → Plans → open the plan (or "+ New plan").
3. In the plan editor, find "Application form" and pick your published form from the dropdown. Leave it "None" for an ordinary one-click join.
4. Save. Every join path for that plan — the buy page, the Membership Tiers block, and any Accordion membership section — now runs the form first, then payment, inline.

Where it works:
• The plan's public buy page (turtini.com/buy/sub/{planId}).
• The "Subscription Plans" / "Membership Tiers" Builder block.
• An Accordion block's membership section (e.g. a "Corporate Sponsorship" panel that expands to the application + priced Join).

Good to know:
• The application is captured as an Intake submission in Forms → Submissions, and it's stamped onto the new subscriber's record, so you can always see who applied for what.
• Removing the form from the plan (set "Application form" back to None) instantly returns that plan to a one-click join — existing subscribers are untouched.
• The form is a gate, not a paywall preview: applicants only get charged after they complete the form and reach the payment step.
