Member self-service via the Customer Portal

Subscribers don't need an admin-grade Turtini account to manage their own subscription. The Customer Portal grows a Subscriptions tab the moment a subscriber's email matches a portal-invited Contact.

What subscribers can do without contacting you:
• See their active subscriptions and amounts
• View payment history and download receipts
• Update their card / bank account (uses Stripe's hosted Customer Portal — Turtini never sees the card details)
• Pause or cancel
• Download year-end giving statements (for tax-deductible plans)

Inviting a subscriber to the portal:
When you create a Contact with a public-buy subscriber's email, the portal-invite is automatic on the next portal login attempt. They click the email link, set a password, and they're in.

Why this matters for retention:
Subscribers who can self-service have lower churn — the moment a card fails or a member's life changes, the portal is the path of least resistance. Forcing them to email or call drives accidental cancellations.
