Change the 3D model while you are still talking to the client

You are sitting with a client in front of the 3D model of their house. They say something about the counters. You should not have to break eye contact, open a menu and hunt for an asset to answer them.

Open a scene in **3D Studio** and press **Ask Wally** at the bottom left of the viewport. Type the change, or press the microphone and say it:

- "swap these counters to dark granite"
- "shift the window frame out by six inches"
- "make it late afternoon"
- "delete the island"

**Nothing changes until you say so.** Wally answers with a short plan in plain language - "Update Counters (material)", "Move Window frame" - and the model sits untouched behind it. Read the line, then press **Apply**, or **Discard** and say it differently. This is deliberate: the whole point is that this happens in front of a client, and a wrong change applied silently costs you more than no co-pilot at all.

**Say "this" and it knows what you mean.** Whatever you have selected in the viewport is what a demonstrative refers to, so clicking the counters and saying "make these darker" works the way it sounds.

**Undo is exact.** After a change is applied, an **Undo** button sits beside it. It restores the values that were actually there before, not an approximation worked back from what you asked for.

**What it will not do.** Wally can change an object's name, position, rotation, scale, size and material, and the scene's lighting and time of day. It cannot swap out an imported 3D model, change what kind of geometry an object is, or touch an object that is not in the scene - if you name something it cannot find, it tells you instead of guessing.

**Measurements are in meters, and it converts for you.** "Six inches" becomes 0.1524; "a foot" becomes 0.3048.

**There is no Save button to remember.** The scene auto-saves after every applied change, and the status by the scene name reads Saving, then Saved.

**If you do not see the Ask Wally button,** the assistant service is not switched on for your environment yet. The rest of 3D Studio is unaffected.
