Play Read the Room in a Stage call
Read the Room is a quick party game built into Stage — great as an icebreaker or a team-building break. One person (the host) gets a secret target on a spectrum and gives a one-word clue; everyone else guesses where the target sits.
A round, step by step:
• The host opens the "Read the Room" panel and starts a round — tap "Random spectrum" (e.g. Cold ↔ Hot, Overrated ↔ Underrated) or type your own two ends.
• The host alone sees a secret target marked on the dial. They type a one-word clue that points the room toward it and clicks "Open."
• Everyone else sees the clue and slides a dial to where they think the target is, then "Lock in my guess" (you can change it until the host reveals).
• The host clicks "Reveal the target." The target and every guess appear on the dial, and players are ranked by how well they read the room — closest wins.
• "Next round" hands the next round off; "End game" closes it.
Fair play:
• The target lives only on the host's device until reveal, so guessers can never peek at it mid-round. Anyone in the call can be the host of a round — just whoever started it gives that round's clue.
