Switch camera, microphone, and layout

Two everyday controls live in the call.

Pick your camera and mic:
• Open the gear (More) menu to choose which camera and microphone Stage uses. Switching is instant — the change applies to the live call without dropping you.

Change the layout:
• Use the "Grid view / Speaker view" toggle at the top of the call. Grid shows everyone evenly; Speaker view features one tile (a screen share if someone's presenting, otherwise the first person) with the rest as thumbnails.

If your camera light stays on after you leave, that's a sign the tab didn't close cleanly — leaving a Stage call releases the camera and mic immediately.
