Providers, working hours, and rooms/chairs
Two things decide whether a time can be booked: a free **provider** and a free **resource**.
**Providers** (Scheduling → Providers) are your staff. Each provider has weekly working hours (per day, with multiple ranges allowed) and a timezone. Map a provider to a Turtini member UID to sync confirmed appointments to that member's Google Calendar. A provider can be limited to specific services, or left open to all.
**Resources** (Scheduling → Resources) are the rooms, chairs, or equipment a service consumes — "Operatory 1", "Chair 2", an X-ray machine. Each resource has a **type** (which must match a service's "required resource type") and a **capacity** (1 = exclusive; higher allows parallel bookings, e.g. a shared bay).
Because the engine requires a free provider AND a free resource for every slot, a chair or operatory can never be double-booked — even across two different providers.
