The migration step (/setup/migrate) — moving from your old SaaS
After you finish two-factor setup, Turtini drops you on a one-page migration step at /setup/migrate before the Setup Cockpit. The premise: you're almost certainly moving from at least one other SaaS, and the moment after MFA is the only time you'll cheerfully tell us what.
For each curated vendor (HubSpot, Mailchimp, QuickBooks, Toast, Calendly, Cloudbeds, etc.) you pick one of three actions per row:
1. Connect & import — for vendors with live OAuth (currently HubSpot, Mailchimp, Calendly), one click runs a real OAuth handshake and queues an import. The row shows "Connecting & importing…" while it runs and "Imported · 142 contacts, 8 deals" when done. For vendors without live OAuth, the same button records an import request and Wally handles the import out-of-band — row shows "Import queued" and you'll get a note when it's complete.
2. Remind me to cancel — creates a saasCancellation entry with a reminder date (default ~30 days out). The reminder cron emails you on that date with the dollar savings and a copy-paste cancellation message tailored to that vendor. Same flow as adding a reminder from the cockpit — the migration step is just a friendlier first pass.
3. Don't currently use — writes a dismissedVendors marker so the vendor stops appearing on the migration step and the cockpit's cancellation picker. Use this for vendors that don't apply to your business.
Vendors that are replaced by a Turtini module you've turned on float to the top of the list — so if you enabled the CRM module, Salesforce / HubSpot / Pipedrive show first.
Two ways to leave the page:
• Continue — stamps migrationOnboardingStatus: 'completed' on your org and goes to /welcome. The cockpit shows no migration nudge.
• I'll do this later — stamps 'skipped'. The cockpit shows a "Bring your existing data over" card with a "Resume migration" button that brings you right back to /setup/migrate.
Existing orgs that signed up before this step never see either side of it — only orgs that explicitly skipped get the resume card.
You can re-open this step any time from the cockpit's resume card or by visiting /setup/migrate directly.
