Roam — save a place with your own rating and notes

Saving a place in Roam works just like logging a bottle in Cellar — it's your private record, not Google's.

To save:
• Tap a place (on the Nearby map/list or in AR) to open its card, then hit Save. The button flips to Saved and the place appears on the Saved tab.

To add a rating and notes:
• On the place card, tap "Notes". Give it a private 1–5 star rating and jot whatever you want — what you ordered, who you were with, what to try next time. Tap Save. (Adding notes saves the place automatically if you hadn't already.)

Where it lives: saved places are private to you at `users/{uid}/places/{placeId}`, with the place's name, coordinates, category, your rating, and your notes. Because Roam stores a coordinate snapshot, a saved place keeps working — distance, walk time, and the Walk button — even for spots that aren't on Turtini.

You can also just ask Wally: "save Blue Bottle to my places" or "find coffee near me and save the closest one."
