Selling retail products on your website

Your retail catalog can sell directly from your Turtini website. In the Builder, add a Products block or a Catalog block and set its source to Retail — the block then reads the same products you manage in Retail → Products, so a price or photo you change there changes on the site.

How inventory is handled:

• Products with Track Inventory OFF are unlimited. Nothing is hidden, nothing is blocked, and the count is never consulted. This is the right setting for services, made-to-order items, and digital goods.

• Products with Track Inventory ON are gated by their stock count. When the count reaches zero the card shows "Sold out", the Buy and Add to cart buttons come off it, and checkout is refused. If you have set a Low Stock Threshold, the card shows "Only N left" once it drops to that level.

• The quantity stepper at checkout stops at what you actually have. A shopper who tries for more than is left is told how many are left and asked to choose again — the order is never quietly reduced to a smaller quantity and charged.

Why you cannot oversell the last one:

When a shopper takes their cart to checkout, Turtini reserves the units on that order before the card form is even shown. A second shopper reaching for the same last unit is refused at that moment, by name, with the real number — so two people cannot both pay for one sweatshirt. The reservation is released the moment the shopper goes back to their cart, and expires on its own after 30 minutes, so an abandoned cart never keeps stock off your shelf.

Your stock count comes down when the payment actually settles, not when the checkout starts. Until then the units show as unavailable to other shoppers while still counting as on hand in Retail → Products, which is the honest reading: they are still in the store.

Refunds do not add stock back automatically. If you take a return, adjust the count from the product detail panel so the shelf and the number agree.
