Categories

Categories let you group products for easier browsing in the Register and for filtering in the product list.

To create a category:
1. Go to Retail → Categories
2. Click "+ Add Category"
3. Enter a name (required) and an optional color
4. Save

Assigning products: open a product and select its category from the dropdown. A product can belong to one category.

In the Register, category pills appear above the product grid. Tap a pill to filter to just that category's products.

Categories are per-store — each store manages its own category list independently.
