Health inspections
The Inspections tab helps you track, schedule, and document all health department inspections for your restaurant.
Scheduling an inspection:
Click "+ Schedule Inspection" and fill in:
• Type — Routine, Follow-up, Complaint, New Permit, or Self-Inspection
• Status — Scheduled, Passed, Conditional, Failed, or Cancelled
• Scheduled date and completed date
• Score (0–100)
• Inspector name
• Agency name and email
Auto-detecting your health agency:
Click "Auto-detect from address" — Turtini looks up the health inspection agency responsible for your restaurant's address. If an API integration is available, it fills in the agency name and contact email automatically. If not, it provides guidance on finding the right jurisdiction.
Emailing the agency:
If both an agency name and email are filled in, a "Draft scheduling email" link appears. Clicking it opens your email client with a pre-filled subject and body — you just hit send.
Recording violations:
For Failed or Conditional inspections, a Violations field appears where you can list each violation (one per line). You can also set a correction due date.
Summary strip:
The top of the tab shows upcoming inspection count, your last inspection score, and whether your most recent inspection was a pass.
