Dues by bank — extra verification, review, and "use another method"
When you pay dues from your bank account, Turtini checks the transfer for risk before any money moves. Almost all go straight through, but occasionally you'll see one of these messages right under the Pay button:
• **"Extra verification needed"** — confirm it's you to authorize the payment. Tap **Verify & continue**; once verified, your dues payment is on its way. This keeps someone else from pulling money from your account.
• **"This payment is being reviewed"** — your payment was flagged for a quick check and will process automatically once approved. Nothing for you to do, and no money has moved yet.
• **"Use a card or a different bank account"** — usually the account didn't have enough available balance for the full dues amount. Choose another account, or use the card payment page.
• **"Couldn't be authorized"** — the bank payment was declined; please use a different method.
In every case, your charges are only marked "pending" once the payment is actually accepted, and only flip to "paid" when the transfer settles. If a payment is held or declined, your dues stay exactly as they were — nothing is charged. [[feedback_fail_safe_fail_soft_always]]
