Enrollment, paid seats, and transcripts

Enrollment connects a person to a course. It can be free or paid, and completion issues a transcript the learner keeps for life.

Enrolling a learner:
1. Open a course and click "Enroll"
2. Search for the person by name or email — members, students, and guests are all eligible
3. If the course has a cost, the learner completes payment through embedded checkout on your connected account; free courses enroll directly

Paid seats:
Priced enrollment collects payment through your org's connected payment account — the money lands in your account, not in Turtini custody. A seat isn't confirmed until payment clears, so capacity is never oversold by unpaid holds.

Capacity and waitlists:
When a course fills, further enrollments are held rather than confirmed. Free up a seat (a cancellation or a raised capacity) and the next held enrollment can be confirmed.

Transcripts:
When a learner completes a course, Turtini issues a transcript entry recording the course, credit, and completion date. The learner sees it at /me/learning and carries it across every organization — a kid who takes a Little League clinic, a museum workshop, and a college seminar builds one continuous record they own.

Checking progress:
The course roster shows each enrollment's status — enrolled, in progress, completed, or withdrawn — alongside attendance so you can see who is on track before the final session.
