Getting started with Programs — courses, camps, and lecture series

Programs is a single enrollment engine for anything people sign up to attend — a school course, a museum lecture series, an aquarium summer camp, or a cruise enrichment program. One shape serves them all; the labels adapt to your institution.

To activate Programs:
1. Go to Organization → Settings → Modules (or ask Wally to turn on Programs)
2. Enable "Programs" — it appears in your navigation at /programs

The building blocks:
• Course — the thing people enroll in. Carries a title, description, contact hours, capacity, prerequisites, and an optional credit value.
• Sessions — the individual meetings. You set a recurrence (daily, weekly, or monthly) and Turtini generates the sessions automatically from the schedule.
• Enrollment — the record tying a learner to a course. Each enrollment resolves to the canonical person through the identity graph, so a returning student is never a duplicate.
• Transcript — issued on completion. The learner owns it and carries it across every organization they touch.

Who can enroll:
Members, students, or guests. If the person already has a Turtini account, their enrollment links to it; if not, one is soft-linked by email so their record is waiting when they join.

The personal side:
Every learner sees their own enrollments and transcript at /me/learning — the Programs module's personal lens. You never have to mail a certificate; the record lives on their account.
