Turn "New here?" helper tips on or off

The "New here?" pill is the small card that animates in from the bottom-right of the screen after you've been on a page for about 25 seconds. It points to a help article that matches the page you're on so you can learn the workflow without leaving your work.

To turn helper tips off:

1. Click your avatar in the top-right
2. Choose Settings
3. Open the Preferences tab
4. Scroll to "Helper tips"
5. Switch off "Show 'New here?' tips"

The change takes effect immediately — any pill currently on screen disappears, and no new ones will appear until you turn it back on.

A few useful details:

• The setting is saved in your browser, not on your account, so it's per-device. If you turn it off on your laptop, it stays on on your phone unless you flip it there too.
• Even with helper tips on, dismissing a specific pill (clicking "Not now" or the ✕) hides that one help article on that route for 24 hours. The toggle is the master switch for all of them.
• Turning helper tips off does not affect the Help modal (avatar → Help) or Wally — both stay available exactly as before.
