Let your AI assistant read and draft your mail
Your assistant can search and read your mail and write drafts for you. It cannot send: every draft waits for you to review and press Send in Turtini Mail.
**Turn it on**
When you connect an assistant (see "Connect your own AI assistant to your Turtini account"), tick **Read your email**, and **Write email drafts** if you want drafts. Drafts count as a change, so they ask for your second factor, or a sign-in within the last 5 minutes if you have none. To add mail to an assistant you already connected, connect it again and tick it; Turtini tells you when an assistant's access changes.
**What it can reach**
• Your connected accounts in Turtini Mail: Gmail, Microsoft 365 and IMAP.
• Organization mailboxes you can open in Mail (your own, and shared ones you belong to), unless that organization does not allow AI assistants or you left it out when you connected.
**What it gets**
Messages as plain text. Images are not loaded, links are not opened, and attachments are listed by name and size only. Turtini's phishing and payment warnings come with each message, so your assistant can tell you when something looks wrong. Reading a message through your assistant does not mark it read.
**Drafts**
Ask for a new email or a reply. In an organization mailbox, the draft is saved in that mailbox's Drafts folder. For a connected account, it appears at the top of Turtini Mail under **Drafts from your assistant**: choose **Open** to review it in the composer and press Send, or **Discard**.
Everything your assistant reads or drafts is listed in **Settings > Connected AI apps**. Drafts in organization mailboxes are also recorded in that organization's audit trail as you via the assistant.
