Sending money
To send money, open /me/pay and use the Pay tab.
1. In "To", enter your recipient's email, phone number, or @handle. Turtini detects which one you typed.
2. Enter the amount ($1.00 to $3,000.00).
3. Add an optional note ("dinner", "rent").
4. Under "From", pick which linked bank account to draw from.
5. Tap Send.
What happens next depends on whether your friend has a bank linked:
• They're set up — the money moves bank to bank. The payment shows in Activity as Sending, then Depositing, then Completed. Your friend is notified.
• They're not on Turtini yet, or haven't linked a bank — the send parks as "Waiting to be claimed" and nothing leaves your account. Turtini invites them (by text or email) to link a bank and claim it. You're debited only when they claim — money only leaves your account when it can land in theirs.
You can Cancel a payment from Activity while it's still waiting to be claimed — since nothing was debited, there's nothing to reverse.
Occasionally a payment needs one extra step — a quick confirmation from a notification, or a short automated review. If so, you'll see "Confirming" and a prompt; the payment finishes once you confirm or the review clears.
