What is Pay Friends?

Pay Friends lets you send and request money with friends and family straight from your bank — at /me/pay in your Personal context. It's a Venmo/Zelle-style experience with one important difference: no float. Turtini never holds your money.

How that's different:
Apps like Venmo park your money in a balance they control and earn interest on. Pay Friends moves money bank to bank — from your linked bank account to your friend's linked bank account — and nothing ever rests in a Turtini account in between. There's no balance to cash out, because there's no balance at all.

What it costs:
Nothing. Zero fee, always. Turtini is rails, not a bank — nobody earns on money sitting idle, because none sits idle.

Three tabs at /me/pay:
• Pay — send money to anyone by email, phone, or @handle.
• Request — ask someone to pay you.
• Activity — the running feed of everything you've sent, received, and requested, with a live status on each.

To send or receive you link a bank account once (see "Link a bank to Pay Friends"). Send limits run from $1.00 to $3,000.00 per payment.
