Licensing and support
TurtiniOS follows a support-and-entitlement model — you can run it freely, and you pay for support and for value that flows through the platform.
The two ways it's used:
• Connected. Anyone can download and run TurtiniOS. When it's connected and runs workflows through Turtini's platform, the same small platform fee applies as anywhere else in Turtini (a low percentage on transactions, plus a share of infrastructure a workflow actually uses). There's no per-machine license fee to run it.
• Disconnected / government. Sites that run air-gapped or need guaranteed support, source visibility, and compliance take an annual support subscription — the model regulated and government buyers expect. This covers support, security response, and entitlement, independent of any per-transaction metering.
Source availability:
TurtiniOS is source-available so operators — especially governments — can inspect what they're running. It is not a no-strings open-source project you can rebrand and resell; the license permits use and inspection while protecting the platform.
Entitlement that works offline:
Entitlement is proven with a portable, cryptographically verifiable credential, so a disconnected site can prove it's licensed without phoning home.
For specific terms, pricing at your scale, or a government support agreement, contact Turtini — the exact plan depends on your deployment (connected vs. air-gapped) and volume.
