Speaking your industry’s language (terminology)

Turtini speaks your industry's language automatically. A barbershop sees "Clients" and "Chairs" where a generic business sees "Contacts" and "Resources"; a clinic sees "Patients" and "Rooms"; a gym sees "Members." You don't have to set anything up.

How the automatic part works:

When Turtini can tell what your business does — from your org name and business description — it applies the matching industry's vocabulary across the whole product (navigation, forms, labels). If your business doesn't map to a known industry, nothing changes: you keep Turtini's clean default terms. The reskin only happens when your org type actually calls for it.

Making it yours — manual overrides always win:

Want to keep most of the preset but rename one thing? You always can. Go to Settings → Terminology & Fields (admin only). There you can:
• Pick or switch your industry preset.
• Rename any individual term — your change layers on top of the preset and takes precedence, so renaming "Chairs" to "Stations" leaves the rest of your vocabulary intact.
• Hide fields you don't use, or mark fields required.

Your manual renames are never overwritten by the automatic terms. Turtini's commercial and platform fields (billing, trust, compliance) can't be renamed — only your operational vocabulary.

Good to know:

Renames are display-only — they change what you and your customers SEE, never the underlying data or how modules connect. Switch industries and the words update everywhere instantly.
