Creating a new organization from your account

Your Turtini account is yours for life. Whether you've spent years on the platform as a member of someone else's org, an event volunteer, or just a personal user — you can spin up your own organization at any time, without creating a new account or losing your existing data.

To create a new organization:
1. Account → Organizations tab (always visible, even if you're not in any org yet)
2. Scroll to "Create an organization"
3. Fill in:
• Organization name (we check for similar existing orgs and offer a partnership request flow if there's a likely duplicate)
• Address, phone, website (optional but recommended — your website auto-fetches a logo)
• Org type — OEM, Partner, or Community
4. Click "Create organization"
5. You're now the Owner of that org and can switch into it from the org switcher in the header

What carries over:
• Your profile, photo, and contact info
• Your wallet, paystubs, tax records (these belong to you, not any org — they survive joining or leaving any org)
• Your favorites, notification preferences, mood, theme, and language settings
• Your activity history

What's separate per org:
• CRM data (accounts, contacts, opportunities) — each org has its own
• Member roster, billing, integrations
• Modules enabled

Leaving an org doesn't delete your account — and joining a new one doesn't replace your account either. Every life change (started a company, joined a board, left a job, moved roles) is just a new org membership added to or removed from the same account.

Belonging to multiple orgs:
You can be in as many orgs as you like, each with a different role. Switch between them with the org switcher in the header dropdown — your active org determines which CRM data, modules, and tabs appear in the navigation.
