Getting started with Nonprofit

Nonprofit is the cross-cutting module that ties donations, volunteer hours, programs, and Impact Reports together.

Enabling Nonprofit:
1. Settings → Modules → enable Nonprofit
2. Nonprofit appears in the main nav at /nonprofit

The five tabs:
• Overview — current programs, recent donations, top volunteers
• Programs — every initiative you run, with hours invested + people served
• Donations — recurring giving + one-time gifts (donor stays one Contact across the platform)
• Volunteers — volunteer hours linked to Workforce time tracking
• Reports — Impact Reports drafted by Wally and published as Builder pages + decks + PDFs

The big idea:
Most nonprofit software treats donations, events, and volunteers as separate islands. Nonprofit is a roll-up: every Contact sees their full lifetime relationship (donations + event attendance + volunteer hours + gala paddles + grant applications) on one record. Impact Reports are the public-facing artifact that synthesises all of it.

Pairs with:
• Gala — auction proceeds and pledges flow into donations
• Grants — incoming and outgoing grants surface here
• Events — ticket sales and registrations roll into the Impact Report
• Workforce — volunteer hours from time tracking attribute to programs
• Email Campaigns — donor segmentation is built on Contacts, so the same audience reaches across modules
