How per-stream earnings are computed

A stream "qualifies" once it's been played for 30 seconds (or runs to completion) — the same threshold the major services use. Shorter plays never accrue.

Each night, the platform rebuilds the month's earnings ledger from the qualified plays: for each release, plays × the per-stream rate = the release's earnings, which are then split across its contributor percentages and added to each payee's earnings for the month. You can also click **Recompute now** on the Earnings tab to rebuild it on demand (useful right after playing something in a demo).

The rate is a small, transparent on-rails accrual rate — not a guess at "market value." Money movement (the actual transfer) is dormant in this phase; what you see is the exact, auditable ledger of what's owed to whom. Open the **Earnings** tab to see this month's total, the qualified-stream count, and the per-release breakdown.
