Image safety and content moderation
Every image uploaded to Turtini is automatically reviewed by a safety pipeline before it is visible to other users. This protects everyone on the platform from harmful content.
What happens when you upload an image:
1. The image is uploaded to secure storage
2. A safety review runs automatically (usually completes within a few seconds)
3. If the image passes — it is approved and shown immediately
4. If the image is flagged — it stays hidden and enters the admin review queue
Why your image might not appear right away:
• It is being reviewed — this normally takes a few seconds; refresh the page if it has been more than a minute
• It was flagged for review — a Turtini platform admin will review it and either approve or reject it
Which uploads are reviewed:
• Activity feed posts and comments with images
• Event header images
• Profile photos and org logos
• Any image uploaded via the Website Builder
Images that are rejected:
• Rejected images are permanently deleted from storage
• The associated post, event, or record remains visible, but without the image
• If you believe an image was flagged incorrectly, open a support ticket
