Create a mission and register vehicles

To create a mission:
1. Missions tab → "+ New mission"
2. **Name** (e.g. "Pathfinder I")
3. **Type** — crewed / uncrewed / commercial / research / dod
4. **Phase** — design / build / integration / launch / operations / extended / decommissioned
5. **Start date** (planned or actual launch)
6. **Primary partner orgs** (cross-org participation)
7. Save → mission exists; switch the active mission picker to it.

To register a vehicle to a mission:
1. Vehicles tab → "+ Add vehicle"
2. **Mission** — link to the parent
3. **Name** (e.g. "Pathfinder I — Orbiter"), call sign, type (orbiter, lander, rover, capsule, depot, station, aircraft, surface)
4. **Configuration** — dry mass, propellant capacity, crew capacity, systems
5. **External IDs** — NORAD catalog, COSPAR, registry numbers

The vehicle's id (missionVehicleId) is the key that Life Support / Comms / Propulsion all reference. Setting it up once means every downstream record auto-routes to the right vehicle's dashboard.
