Your membership wallet card

When a membership payment settles, the member's wallet card is minted and delivered automatically — a real card that lives in the phone's wallet and can be scanned at your door.

How it is delivered:
The card is sent by email and by text as soon as the payment settles — never on a click, and never before the money is confirmed. The email is branded by your org and carries an "add to wallet" link; the text carries the same link. If a member has no phone on file, the email alone delivers it. A member never receives duplicates, even if a payment webhook is retried.

It is a credential, not a receipt:
A membership card is different from an event ticket. It stays in the wallet and updates over the air: its validity is re-derived from the member's live record every time the wallet refreshes. A renewal pushes the new paid-through date to the card; a tier change re-renders the tier name; and when a membership lapses or is cancelled, the card stops working on its own at the paid-through date — it cannot stay valid forever.

The member number:
Each card carries the member's number, so staff can scan it or look the member up at the register to charge a check or sale to the member's account.

Bundles — one subscription, several cards:
If the membership was purchased as a partner bundle, the member receives one card per organization in the bundle, each branded by that org, so every partner can scan the member at its own door.

Same rail as your other passes:
Membership cards ride the same wallet system as event tickets, gift cards, and lodging keys — there is no separate app for members to install.
