Edit your own directory listing

When an organization you're a member of publishes a directory listing for you and turns on member editing, you can keep that listing up to date yourself — no need to email them for a change.

Open **My Membership** (the membership area of your account) and find the listing under that organization. If an editor appears, member editing is on and the listing is yours to update:

1. Edit the **title**, **summary**, and **body** text directly.
2. To change the **cover photo**, upload a new image. A new cover goes through a quick automatic review before it appears on the public directory, so you'll see an "under review" note on your side until it clears — your old cover keeps showing publicly in the meantime.
3. **Save.** Your text changes publish right away; a new photo publishes once it clears review.

If you don't see an editor, either the organization hasn't turned on member editing for your listing, or your membership isn't currently active. Both are things the organization controls — reach out to them if you expected to be able to edit.

Behind the scenes, every save re-checks that the listing is genuinely yours and your membership is active, so this is a convenience for you — never a way to edit a listing that isn't yours.
