Choose what webmail tracks for your organization

Senders always see delivery and replies on their own messages. The Activity tab of the Mail console (/mail) decides the rest.

1. Open Mail (/mail) and go to the Activity tab.
2. Link clicks: choose whether links in mail from shared mailboxes and from personal mailboxes are tracked. Shared mailboxes are on and personal mailboxes off until you change them. Tracked links go through your own domain when it is connected to an active Builder site, otherwise through turtini.com. Email, phone and unsubscribe links are never tracked, and senders can turn tracking off for any message.
3. Opens: the tracking image is off until you turn it on, for personal mailboxes and then shared mailbox by shared mailbox. Opens are approximate and labeled that way everywhere they appear. The image is never added to mail that only reaches Turtini mailboxes, and every message that carries it ends with a line saying so. You can reword that line; it cannot be removed while the image is on.
4. Keeping activity: choose how many days activity is kept (30 to 730). It is deleted after that.

Activity stores times, counts and a coarse kind of device or scanner, never recipients' addresses or IP addresses. It is included in your organization's data export. Every time someone turns tracking on or off, the change is recorded in your organization's mail audit log with who made it.
