Turtini

See what happened to a message you sent

Every message you send from webmail has an Activity tab. Open the message in your Sent folder (or in the conversation) and choose Activity.

What it can tell you, and how sure it is:
- Delivery, per recipient (exact). Accepted by their mail server, delayed, or bounced with the server's reason. Accepted does not tell you whether it landed in the inbox or a spam folder.
- Replies (exact), from the replies in your own mailbox.
- Link clicks (exact), when your organization tracks links from your mailbox. Security scanners and link previews open links automatically, so those are counted separately as probable scanners. Everyone who received a message shares its links, so a click is tied to a person only when the message had one recipient.
- Read receipts (exact), only from people on Turtini Mail who chose to send them. No read receipt never means unread.
- Opens (approximate), only if your organization turned on the tracking image. Apple Mail loads images when mail arrives, which looks like an open; Gmail loads them once, which hides repeat opens.

To send one message without link tracking, clear Track link clicks in this message in the composer before you send. Preview shows whether links will be tracked.

Your own read receipts are off until you turn them on: in Mail, press Settings and turn on Send read receipts. They go only to people who email you from Turtini Mail, only the first time you open their message, and never from a shared mailbox.

Activity is kept for the number of days your organization chose (180 unless they changed it), then deleted.
