Customize the digital room-key email
When a reservation has a digital key, Turtini emails the guest a "here's how to get into your room" message with their unlock link, card-as-key hint, and PIN.
When it's sent:
• The day before check-in (around 10am in the property's local time zone), automatically.
• If a booking is made last-minute — same-day or next-day, after that morning send time — the email goes out immediately when the reservation is created, so a late booker still gets their key.
• It's sent once per reservation (tracked on the reservation), so editing a booking won't re-send it.
What's in it:
• A friendly headline, the confirmation code, property, room number, and check-in date + time.
• Step-by-step entry instructions built automatically from the key methods your locks support — tap-to-unlock on the phone, tap-the-card-you-paid-with, or the keypad PIN — with a "see the front desk" fallback if no method is available.
• An "Open your room key" button linking to the guest's key page.
Make it your own:
• The subject line, eyebrow, headline, and intro/outro copy are org-customizable. Open Settings → Email Templates and edit the "Digital room key" (lodging.digitalKey) template — your wording shows on every key email your property sends. The how-to-enter instructions are generated by the system so they always match each guest's actual key.
