Lending & Credit — borrow on your terms, lend on rails
Lending & Credit is two surfaces on one engine, built on the same rails as Insurance: a borrower side at /me/credit and a lender/originator side at /lending.
The core promise — the APR ratchet:
Every loan carries a baseline APR locked at origination. That baseline is your CEILING — the worst you'll ever pay. Sharing a financial signal (verified income, bank cash-flow, on-time history, autopay) only LOWERS your APR toward the product's floor. Revoking a signal returns you toward baseline — never past it, and never with a surcharge, acceleration, or re-underwriting. The math is enforced server-side; clients can't write loan documents at all.
Why this matters:
In conventional lending, the lender holds all the leverage: they pull a bureau file you don't control, price you against it, and the data is used to charge you MORE. Turtini inverts that. Your data is used to charge you LESS, you decide what to share, every lender read is logged on your side, and your creditworthiness is a credential YOU own and carry between lenders — not a file a bureau keeps on you.
For borrowers (/me/credit):
- Browse the marketplace — loans, lines, BNPL, invoice financing across every lender on Turtini.
- Preview an offer: see exactly how each signal you share lowers the APR before you commit.
- Apply and accept in one place; the loan appears under My Loans.
- Manage active loans: make payments, and toggle signals on/off to move your APR in real time.
- Connect financial signals under Creditworthiness; carry your portable creditworthiness credential to your next lender.
For lenders (/lending):
- Publish credit products to the marketplace, defining the baseline APR, floor, amount band, term, and the APR reductions borrowers can earn.
- Automated, signal-aware underwriting assigns a risk tier and approved limit; thin-file cases route to manual review.
- Manage the loan book; GL journal entries post automatically on disbursement and every repayment.
- Read a borrower's aggregated qualification view (never the raw stream) — every read is audited on the borrower's side.
