Getting started with Law Enforcement

The **Law Enforcement** module is part of your **Official Duty** lens. It only appears when two things are true: your organization is a verified government org, and you personally hold a verified **law-enforcement affiliation** (verify your agency email at **/me/affiliations**).

Inside the module you'll find four tabs:
- **Incidents** — file and review incident reports (title, location, case number, narrative).
- **BOLOs** — post be-on-the-lookout notices with subject, vehicle, and last-seen details.
- **Shift Roster** — who's on which beat and when.
- **Evidence** — intake records with a chain-of-custody note per item.

**What's deliberately NOT here:** NCIC / criminal-history (CJIS-scoped) lookups. Those require a separate agency compliance program under the FBI CJIS Security Policy and stay dormant until that's in place. This module never stores restricted data it can't yet protect to policy.
